Welcome to Valara Design's Returns and Refunds Policy page. We strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase from our store. Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand how returns and refunds are handled at Valara Design.

Return Period

Return/refund requests must be initiated before and up to 14 days upon delivery of the item.

Ineligibility for Returns/Refunds

  • Final sale items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
  • Items for which the reason for return is based on personal preferences such as color, design, or suitability for space are not eligible unless for a reasons that fall into our eligible category as our products are made to order. Customers must reference all photos as a guide in choosing which product/color/size to select.
  • Gift cards and promotional items cannot be returned or refunded.

Eligibility for Returns/Refunds

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging with accompanying tags/product cards etc.
  • Items are not eligible for return unless defective or damaged upon receipt.

Types of Returns/Refunds

  • Eligible returns may result in a replacement product, store credit, or a refund to the original payment method, at our discretion and based on the desired outcome by the customer from those offered in each individual situation.

Process for Initiating a Return/Refund

To initiate a return or refund, please contact us at info@valaradesign.com with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to initiate a return/refund for. We kindly request that images of the item(s) be supplied to assist us in processing your request efficiently.

EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD

Not withstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return Shipping and Fees

If an order is deemed viable for a return/refund, a return shipping label and instructions will be provided to you.

Processing Time

Once the returned items are received, please allow up to 7-10 business days for processing refunds or exchanges.

Return/Refund FAQ

Can i request a return/refund if i change my mind?

Unfortunately as our products are made to order, change of mind is not an accepted reason for request of refund/exchange.

Unless your order is delivered to a location within the European Union. These specific orders fall under the 14 day cooling off period mentioned in depth above.

When can i request a refund/exchange/return?

All requests for refund/return/exchange must be initiated within 14 days of taking delivery of an order.

From there, our team will asses each claim individually to deliver an outcome.

When can i expect my refund to land in my bank account?

If our team has asssessed your claim and granted a refund, we allow a 7-10 business day timeframe for return of funds.

Can i refund a giftcard or purchases made using a giftcard?

Unfortunately we do not allow refund of giftcards, due to the nature of gift cards having a one time use code that is granted to the buyer.

If a purcahse is made with a gift card but falls under our eligable reasons for exchange/refund/return, please contact us at info@valaradesign.com. Our team will then asses your claim and grant a suitable remedy that falls under our policy.
